This year’s guest artists include the Sundance Trio, with oboist Geralyn Giovannetti, bassoonist Christian Smith, and pianist Jed Moss.
Participants of all ages and performance levels are invited to join Georgia State University School of Music for Double Reed Day! Beginning and Advanced Tracks are available for students new to double reeds as well as experienced players. Join us for master classes, double reed ensemble, recitals, and exhibitors, and more! Beginning Track participants receive an hour workshop dedicated to building a strong foundation of introductory technique, as well as joining the Advanced Track in master classes, artist recitals, and the Double Reed Ensemble. All participants should bring their instrument and be ready to play!
Atlanta Saxophone Day is an annual event held in September and is open to participants of all ages and levels. This one-day event hosts masterclasses, focus sessions, saxophone ensembles, artist and participant recitals, and exhibitors. Each year, Atlanta Saxophone Day features a world-class guest artist. Past guest artists include Claude Delangle, Debra Richtmeyer, Frederick Hemke, and Steven Stusek. This year’s guest will be announced in Spring 2017.

SingFest! is an annual one-day festival comprised of rehearsals, opera theater workshops, and a concert performance alongside Georgia State’s University Singers in an intensive honor choir event. Students from various schools in the Atlanta region come together as one choir in downtown Atlanta to make great music in the Southeast’s richest cultural center and perform in the historic Rialto Center for the Arts.
